Confused by the name of the console, many gamers mistakenly buy Xbox One X and not Xbox Series X!

Since it was first announced at the 2019 The Game Awards, Microsoft’s decision to name the latest generation of Xbox consoles with the Xbox Series X still invites criticism. Not only are they considered less creative, but many people are concerned that the naming that is too similar to the Xbox One X console can cause confusion, especially for parents who are quite unfamiliar with game consoles and only trying to fulfill their children’s wishes.

This concern seems to be starting to come true, where since pre-orders for the Xbox Series X console opened on September 22, sales of the Xbox One X console have actually jumped to more than 700% at one of the well-known retailers, namely Amazon. This is definitely due to the naming of the console which is indeed similar to the Xbox One X, so that many gamers, especially ordinary people, mistakenly buy the console instead of the Xbox Series X.
