Phantasy Star, one of the oldest JRPG franchises made by SEGA, has finally caught the attention of old fans as well as newcomers through several interesting projects. Apart from the big expansion of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis which can be likened to a new game, SEGA has also released a global version of the original Phantasy Star Online 2 game to various platforms.

The existence of Phantasy Star Online 2 is also still strong in Japan, where SEGA has often held cool collaboration events with popular game and anime franchises. No need to wait long to get new surprises, recently they finally announced that the Japanese version of PSO 2 will return to the arrival of an interesting collaboration event, this time with Sword Art Online.

This collaboration event will offer a variety of content ranging from new items including avbatars, Weapon Camo, Lobby Action, and many more. In addition, Kirito and Asuna will appear as guest characters that you can meet in the Oracle Mothership. Other than this information, unfortunately no further details have been shared yet.

If you are an active player of the Japanese version of PSO 2 and are curious about the event, Sword Art Online X Phantasy Star Online 2 itself will be held in December. Meanwhile, for those of you who are interested in playing the global release of the game, Phantasy Star Online 2 is already available on various platforms including Xbox One and PC.
